Mindy is intrigued and inspired by the fact that for thousands of years artists, like herself, in cultures around the world have engraved, carved and dyed gourds. The types of decorations that have been
used to embellish the gourd are as diverse as the applications and the cultures from which they came. Many of Mindy's original designs capture the freedom and spirit of the designs of these early artisans.
